100% of our products are exported, out of which 96% went to the European Union, another 3.5% were exported to Asia especially Thailand and Japan and the remaining products were sent to America in particular Mexico and the U.S. in 2005. Our customers are divided into two groups. One are the car manufacturers, which represent the major part of our sales, and the others are internal sales to the Denso Corporation or other Denso group members.

Our suppliers are originating from Europe (58), the U.S. (1) and Asia (4). In Europe the following geographical distribution of the suppliers is given: Germany (26), Hungary (13), France (6), Austria (4), the Netherlands (4), Czech Republic (2), Poland (1), Spain (1), and Italy (1). Among our suppliers the purchases from Linamar Hungary accounted for 11.3% of the total number of transacted purchases in 2005.

Entry level wage compared to local minimum wage for significant locations of operation

The entry-level wage at DMHU for a full-time employment in the lowest employment cate-gory amounts to 80,000 HUF gross per month. Compared with the Hungarian minimum wage of 60,000 HUF gross per month; DMHU pays 33.33% above this minimum.

DMHU does not have a policy or common practice for preferring to hire local residents. Regarding the composition of the senior management, please see the performance indicator LA11.

No dividends were paid by DMHU in 2005, because DMHU is not a public limited company (incorporation). The interest payable amounted to 3,665,303 EUR and other expenses on financial transactions were 988,780 EUR in the period 1st of April 2005 to 31st of March 2006.

Practices and proportion of spending on locally-based suppliers at significant locations of operation

There is not such a policy existing for preferring locally based suppliers (locally is defined as the city of Székesfehérvár and Hungary, respectively). The selection process is not directly done by DMHU but the Denso Corporation Japan makes a major contribution to the selection procedure. The main factors for the choice are quality, price, performance and delivery conditions.

There was a decrease in the retained earnings (accumulated profit reserve) of about 26 million EUR from the financial year of 2004 (lasting from the 1st of April 2004 to 31st of March 2005) to the financial year of 2005 (lasting from the 1st of April 2005 to 31st of March 2006).

DMHU received a tax relief by the ministry of trade until 2011. In addition DMHU obtained grants in the amount of 2,667,165 EUR. See the source and the corresponding sum of the individual items below.

Donations to community, civil society, and other groups broken down in terms of cash and in-kind donations per type of group

DMHU donated 250,000 HUF to a green association GAJA (Environmental Protection Association) located in Székesfehérvár; 100,000 HUF for making a movie about a natural reserve in the neighborhood; 62 personal computers to primary schools; 60 trees for the program ‘10 Million trees’, and was a sponsor of several competitions mainly donations in kind.
